A great wedding doesn’t have to break the bank

10.  Use family and friends.  If your aunt is a travel agent see if she can get you a great deal on a honeymoon!

9.  Use in Season flowers.  They are cheaper than exotics that have to be flown in.  Better yet use locally grown
flowers.

8.  Limit the menu.  One or two choices for dinner is acceptable.  You don’t need to rival a cruise line
on the food choices.

7.  Limit the guest list.  It may be tempting to invite hundreds of people to see you look fabulous on your
special day but try keeping it to the people who are really special.

6.  Don’t go overboard on extras.  You may think at the time you need circus performers at the
cocktail hour but it will add to your costs.

5.  Set a budget. Setting no budget will make your wedding costs skyrocket.

4.  Have your wedding off season. This can significantly reduce your wedding costs.

3.  Add some do it yourself.  If you, or family/friends, are artistic add some personally created touches to your wedding from pew bows to centerpieces.

2.  Figure out what is most important about the wedding and spend money on a few key elements.

1.  Elope! By the end of the process you will understand the suggestion.
